WHO WE ARE
We are Maredados, an innovative Brazilian startup focused on developing low-cost oceanographic equipment, making the acquisition of environmental data more accessible to the market, both national and international.
Our mission is to meet the growing demands for reliable data about the ocean ecosystem and make these solutions available to a wide range of users, thus ensuring the preservation and sustainability of our seas. With a highly qualified and passionate team, we are ready to face the environmental challenges of the 21st century and transform not only the future of oceanographic research in Brazil, but for the maritime industry as a whole.

HISTORY
Developed by two oceanographers, Arthur Cumplido and Paulo Quintella, restless since their university days. Faced with the challenges faced during their training, where the high prices of oceanographic equipment made access difficult, they decided to take action. This is how Maredados was born, with the mission of making these tools more accessible, democratizing knowledge and boosting data collection in our oceans. To make this possible, in addition to always looking for innovations, we count on institutional support from the renowned University of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
WHAT MOVES US
We are driven by a passionate vision: In addition to making access to equipment and data more accessible for the education and training of new oceanographers, we believe we can create a network for collecting and transmitting environmental data at a lower cost. We want to unlock the secrets of the oceans and make this knowledge accessible to everyone.
Our difference lies in the partnership and training relationship that we intend to establish with universities. The low cost of our equipment also allows us to reach the market of private ports, small marinas, research institutes and coastal city management.
